John Dixon and Cllr. Ann Rowland-James want residents to be aware of their local PACT meetings.

Your Llandaff North ward Focus Team is keen to let residents know of the details of their next Police & Communities Together (PACT) meeting.

The group is a forum for residents, community groups and local businesses to meet with the Police and councillors to discuss local issues and set up action plans to deal with problems in the area.

The Llandaff North PACT area covers Gabalfa estate, north Mynachdy and Llandaff North itself. The next meeting has been scheduled for Friday 9th March at 7pm in Glan Taf Youth Centre. Priorities from the last meeting were youth and motorbike annoyance around Gabalfa Avenue, anti-social behaviour around Station Road and the sale of alcohol from off-licences, shops and public houses to under-18s.

Local Liberal Democrat councillor, Ann Rowland-James, said: "These meetings have been a useful opportunity for residents to bring their concerns to the attention of the police and for me, as the local councillor, to take forward issues on behalf of our community. I hope that more residents will attend the meeting in March so that the voice of the community can be heard as strongly as possible."
