Flood watch in Heath

Councillor Bowden highlights the blocked drains in Heath areaThe Heath Focus team continue to be very concerned about the level of street flooding that is still occurring after heavy rain in the Heathwood Road area.

Councillor Fenella Bowden has actively engaged with Welsh Water and Highways Department to try to resolve the problem of flooding at the lower end of Heathwood Road, St Tanwg Road and Maes Y Coed Road. Fenella said "this is an ongoing problem but a serious one. This week's heavy rainfall has highlighted the problem once more and this is even before we get the Autumnal leaf-fall". She added "I have been in touch with Highways and Cleaner Cardiff again to ask that they tackle this flooding problem urgently!
