Cllr. Bowden continues to lobby Council about Pedestrian CrossingThe Heath Focus team continue to campaign to make the zebra crossing on Maes-Y-Coed Road safer for pedestrians. Cllr. Fenella Bowden has repeatedly asked the Council to upgrade this crossing following numerous incidents of motorists not stopping for pedestrians. Most recently one of the local PCSOs was knocked down on the crossing and was badly hurt. Fenella comments "While we wait for the crossing to be reconfigured I am lobbying to get the 'Speed Humps' traffic sign removed and new halos installed on the belisha beacons".
