Fenella Bowden has presented a petition to the council for a pedestrian crossing

Fenella Bowden, Lib Dem Councillor for Heath, has been campaigning for a safe pedestrian crossing at the top of Birchgrove Road at the junction with Manor Way.

Seen with Cardiff North's Prospective Parliamentary candidate, Cllr John Dixon in the picture, Fenella has presented a petition to Council and has been assured that an assessment of pedestrian usage at this junction will be undertaken.

Fenella said: 'This is a difficult place to cross and yet it is on a Safe Route to School. I shall be continuing to work towards getting this junction reconfigured and will keep residents in touch with developments'.
