Whitchurch students re-paint Manor Way underpass

Lib Dem Heath Councillor, Fenella Bowden has worked with local pupils and teachers from Whitchurch High School to repaint the underpass on Manor Way.

This former eyesore has been transformed into an amazing underwater seascape.

The project which was undertaken during Super Learning Week transformed the graffiti-ridden underpass alongside the school into a colourful walkway.

The results have impressed people of all ages , who have stopped to admire the teenagers work.

Fenella said 'It is fantastic. Residents have been delighted to see this improvement which will make walking through the underpass a pleasant experience. I am also pleased to see that the police presence in the area has reduced levels of anti-social behaviour and increased perceived safety levels'.
