Cllr. Ann Rowland-James wants to see action from the council to address parking problems on River View and Western Avenue.
Liberal Democrats in Llandaff North have called for action to tackle parking problems in the streets around River View and Western Avenue.
Residents in the area have reported significant parking problems over recent years, with dozens of vehicles parking in the area every day to get to the nearby UWIC campus, causing problems for residents.
Cllr. Ann Rowland-James told us: "The problem is a significant one. Sometimes the parking is dangerous, which presents obvious problems. But there's also the fact that this is a quiet residential area and the streets can't cope with extra traffic and parking which is being burdened upon them."
Parking problems in the area are a daily occurrence
Local resident, Jacqui Hooper, added: "Something needs to be done about the problem. The Lib Dem Team have taken dozens of photos of cars parking in the area every day to show the council some of the problems which are being caused. We will continue to work with the council to find a long-term solution to the problem."
