Heath Lib Dems welcome improvements to Llwyn Fedw Gardens

Cardiff's Lib Dem council is currently erecting fencing, laying out surface areas for basketball, five-a-side football and tennis at Llwyn Fedw Gardens.

The improvements have been welcomed by Heath ward Liberal Democrats, who have long been campaigning for better facilities in the area. Your Focus Team was active in trying to ensure money from the Phoenix Development went to fund investment into local facilities such as these.

Local Lib Dem councillor Michelle Michaelis said: "There have been so many large developments in our area, so it's only right that our children should benefit from better play facilities. I'm delighted that the Lib Dem council has overseen these improvements and I'm sure local residents will benefit from them."

Cllr. Jim James added: "The council hope to have the park open in time for the Christmas break, which is great news."
